Amar Dzain

Amar Dzain brings hands-on experience in multi-market corporate service delivery to his advisory work at LegalBison, drawn from a career in Southeast Asia and the MENA region. Before joining LegalBison, he served as Global Key Account Manager at a multi-market corporate services firm, where he provided strategic advisory to global clients through in-person, virtual, and digital channels on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and market entry across multiple jurisdictions. 

His work covered company incorporation, business registration, licensing, and certification processes across markets such as Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Hong Kong. He led business development and partnership initiatives to expand the firm’s service portfolio, managing collaborations with international providers across Africa, the EU, LATAM, and Asia for regulatory solutions, including VASP licenses, gambling licenses, brokerage licenses, and payment service provider licenses. 

Amar also evaluated incoming partnership and integration opportunities from service providers across free zone incorporation services, high-compliance sector insurance, and fintech platform development, assessing alignment with delivery capabilities and strategic growth objectives.

Amar Dzain holds a degree in Quantity Surveying (Engineering) from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT), Malaysia. He is fluent in Malay and English.

Amar Dzain advises clients on crypto and digital asset licensing and international corporate structuring, with direct working knowledge of jurisdiction-specific VASP frameworks and offshore incorporation pathways. His jurisdictional expertise covers Labuan in Malaysia, El Salvador, and Costa Rica, each serving distinct structuring and licensing purposes for digital asset and crypto exchange operators entering Asia-Pacific and Latin American markets. 

Amar’s representative engagement involved a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange seeking expansion into El Salvador: the mandate required delivering regulatory solutions, including the El Salvador Bitcoin Service Provider License and Digital Assets Service Provider License.

His client work includes centralized exchange operators and crypto OTC businesses seeking appropriate VASP registration and corporate architecture for cross-border operations. Jurisdictions are matched to each client’s business model and operational requirements. Amar Dzain’s advisory engagements extend across Asia-Pacific markets, LATAM jurisdictions, offshore structuring territories, and beyond.

Amar Dzain works within LegalBison’s client-facing function in the Malaysia office, the firm’s primary point of engagement for Asia-Pacific market mandates. His role covers two areas: direct client advisory at the intake and evaluation stage, and regional market development work that identifies and builds the local service provider networks LegalBison relies on for delivery across Southeast Asia and the MENA region.

At the advisory stage, he assesses each client’s business model, determines the correct jurisdictional and licensing pathway, and coordinates with LegalBison’s internal legal, compliance, licensing, and corporate administration teams.
