Juri Kulikov

Juri Kulikov brings a practitioner’s grounding to regulatory advisory work, drawn from five years in EU-regulated financial services at Admiral Markets (Admirals), one of the EU’s largest FX/CFD brokers by trading volume, where he held a Senior role overseeing the Russian-speaking region from 2017 to 2021. During that period, he achieved Professional Client status under MiFID II classification, a designation that reflects direct, verifiable experience operating within EU-regulated trading environments.

Prior to Admiral Markets, Juri Kulikov held roles in business automation advisory at MindTitan, Estonia’s largest AI development agency, and partnership development at GreenDice, a greentech startup focused on circular economy integration. He has followed the digital asset space since 2016. He holds an AML training certification from CCL Academy and is fluent in Russian and English.

Juri Kulikov advises clients across LegalBison’s full service scope, covering crypto and digital asset licensing, FinTech and payment licensing, trading and forex, and international corporate structuring. His EU regulatory knowledge covers MiCA and CASP frameworks for crypto-asset service provider authorization, MiFID II requirements for FX/CFD operations, and incorporation pathways in jurisdictions including Costa Rica and EU markets such as Estonia.

His work with clients ranges from centralized and decentralized exchange operators seeking VASP registration to FinTech platforms evaluating EMI or PSP licensing, as well as FX/CFD brokerage businesses navigating derivatives regulation. Jurisdictions are treated as tools matched to each client’s specific business model. His advisory engagements sit within LegalBison’s 50+ jurisdiction service scope, covering EU-regulated environments, LATAM jurisdictions, offshore structuring territories, and MENA markets.

Juri Kulikov works within LegalBison’s client-facing advisory function, the team responsible for engaging founders and established businesses at the strategy and evaluation stage. His role is to assess a client’s business model, identify the correct jurisdictional and licensing pathway, and connect them with the appropriate specialists across LegalBison’s internal legal, compliance, licensing, and corporate administration teams.

He works across all primary service verticals, which gives him a cross-sector view of the regulatory questions most founders encounter at the formation and licensing stage.
