Nominee

A nominee is an individual appointed at the official position of a legal entity, instead of the actual beneficial owner.

By naming a nominee, an individual can preserve its privacy by not appearing into public registers. Nominees can also ensure local representation to fulfill economic substance requirements.

Nominees are not authorized in every jurisdiction.
