A Reference Letter is a written document, where the writer confirms the good standing and/or praises a third party.

In common language, reference letters are written by company managers’ to their former employees, to confirm their value as workers.

In the context of corporate services, reference letters can be emitted by trusted institutions such as banks, to confirm that a natural or legal person is safe to do business with.
