CASP (Crypto Assets Services Provider)

CASP (Crypto-Asset Service Provider) is a legal entity authorized under MiCA to provide services related to crypto assets. The scope of possible services includes custody and administration of CAs, trading platforms, crypto exchange platforms, and portfolio management. The term was introduced by MiCA to completely replace VASP in 2024.
