Paroli

Meaning and Definition of Paroli in Gambling

The term Paroli refers to a progressive betting methodology utilized primarily within roulette gaming frameworks, predicated on the theoretical assumption of outcome clustering or streaks. Under this system, participants execute wagers exclusively on even-money propositions, such as color-based outcomes. The protocol dictates that an initial base stake be established; in the event of a loss, the stake remains constant for the subsequent round. Conversely, upon a successful outcome, the wager is doubled for the next iteration. This doubling sequence continues for a maximum of three consecutive wins, after which the staking requirements reset to the initial base unit. Regulatory compliance requires that such wagering systems be clearly disclosed to ensure transparency regarding risk management and betting progression mechanics within the gambling environment.
