Game Finance (GameFi) is a fusion of online gaming and decentralized finance (DeFi). Its main purpose is to create in-game economies and incentives for players. GameFi has introduced the notion of play-to-earn (P2E), where players participate in blockchain-based games to earn digital assets, including NFTs, and other valuables as rewards.
