ART (Asset Referenced Token)

ART (Asset-Referenced Token) is a type of crypto asset under MiCA that is opposed to EMT. The value of ARTs represents one or more assets: currencies, commodities, or other financial assets. ARTs are backed by a reserve of assets that must fully cover the value of circulating tokens. Holders of ARTs can redeem their tokens for or an equivalent amount of the assets they reference.
